Enabulele Supports Baseball Development in Edo State Following Meeting with Baseball Tomorrow Academy

In a bid to enhance the development of baseball sports in Edo State, I had the privilege of hosting the leadership of the Baseball Tomorrow Academy, led by its Secretary General, Mr. Ambrose Ozimede, at my office in Benin City on Wednesday.
During the meeting, Mr. Ozimede praised the sterling leadership of Hon. Amadin Desmond Enabulele, the Executive Chairman of the Edo State Sports Commission, and called for increased partnership between the commission and the academy to foster growth in baseball across the state. He elaborated on the academy’s achievements and expressed a strong desire for further collaboration to develop grassroots baseball talents.
Responding, I expressed appreciation for their visit and assured them of the commission’s unwavering commitment to grassroots sports development, particularly through baseball. Recognizing the potential of the Baseball Tomorrow Academy, I announced that the team will represent Edo State in the upcoming Youth Games—an initiative aligned with Governor Monday Okpebholo’s vision for youth empowerment and sports development.
Additionally, I was presented with the academy’s official T-shirt and Cap, alongside baseball equipment including bats, balls, batting gloves, and helmets, as a token of support and encouragement.
Other members of the academy present at the meeting included:
Asekomli Benson (Coach), Dr. James Asagunla (Administrator), Iyamu Gabriel Orobosa (Stakeholder), Mr. Otu Oghale (Coach), Obaraye Osakpamwan (Secretary)
The meeting was highly productive, reinforcing our shared commitment to developing baseball talent and creating sustainable opportunities for young players in Edo State.
